Jimmy - Giving and Receiving feed-back 3

The Final Giving and receiving feed back i demonstrated was asking questions to ensure listeners understand. An example of me demonstrating this was when i asked the Sofi (the Coach) questions like " Where do stand", or "who do i pass it to"

The effect this had on the team was that everyone has a right to ask question whether it's a negative question or a positive Question.

I could improve this interpersonal skill next time by asking questions t anyone that's closer to me or a person that knows more of the game of touch and whose more experience than any one in the team.   

Jimmy Effective-Communication 3

The other effective communication i demonstrated was using movements with my head by nodding it. An example of me using this was my teammate was about to pass the ball, i nodded my head because i saw the other person from the opposition getting ready to intercept the ball.

The effect this had on the team was great because my teammate understood my actions and that's what really impressed me because if he didn't see me nodding head it would've been an intercept.

I could improve this next time by running at the back of my teammate and try and do some plays that can lead to a try. 

Jimmy - Fair play 3

The other fair  play i demonstrated develop self control when things do not go your way. An example of me using this was when the opposition was getting all cocky just because they won, Me and my team was just humble and just carried on walking while they were putting us down.

The effect this had on the team was awesome because i was  very impressed on how the team coped with their put downs and just ignored them.

I could improve this next time by telling the other team to just stop before it turns in something else, e.g. A FIGHT!!!.

Jimmy Giving and Receiving Feed-Back 2

The other Giving and receiving feed-back i demonstrated was advice to your team-mates or opposition so that they can improve on a certain skill , the listener is able to feel supported and motivated to take on board what is being said in order to improve.

An example of me using this interpersonal skill is when one of my team-mate was having trouble catching the ball I told him put his hands up and get ready for the pass.

The effect this had on my team is that everyone took the advice that I gave to my team-mate and used it to make it easier for themselves.

I could improve on this interpersonal skill next time by being more specific with my actions to my team and use my role as a trainer.

Jimmy - Effective Communication 2

The other Effective communication I demonstrated was using language that everyone understands and telling others what they should do and also be an encouraging teammate.

An Example of me using this was when i encouraged my Teammate to get up, after getting pushed on the ground really bad from someone on the other team. 

The Effect this had on the team was great cause they saw positive things in me, like i was their older brother and i  am an encouraging and loving person. 

I could improve this next time by telling the other person in the other team to play fair or tell him rules of the game so that the game can be more fun and enjoyable or

Jimmy Fair-play 2

The other Fair play I demonstrated during our game of touch, was keeping my dignity, by trying my best on the field whether winning or losing and not getting nasty with my actions.

An Example of me using this interpersonal skill was when i was running to score a try, Junior came out of no where and tripped me. I got very frustrated, so i said to him "Play Fair, or else go and take a seat".

The effect this had on the team was Great cause the team was surprised when i Told Junior to Play fair. The game was more challenging, everyone was sharing the ball, everyone was communicating with each other and everyone was getting involved.

I can improve this next time by not getting frustrated and just say, "Hey, stop it i don't like it ". So  that it doesn't turn into a fight. 

Jimmy - Effective Communication

The Interpersonal Skill I demonstrated today during our game of touch was Effective Communication. Effective Communication is when your a good active listener and you use body language with your team mate when they can't hear you from a mile away.

An example of me using this interpersonal skill was when the trainer was telling us what to do and where to go I listened, because I'm an active listener. The Effect this had on the trainer, made him feel valued and that he knows better.


I could improve the use of this interpersonal skill next time by communicate more with the team instead of just focusing one person in the team, but get everyone involved so that it can make the game more fun.

Jimmy Giving-Feedbacks

The other interpersonal skill I demonstrated today during our game of touch was Giving and receiving feedback, An example of me using this interpersonal skill was when the game ended, I went and shake the other teams hands and said "Good Game". 

The effect this had on the team was great, cause they didn't cause any trouble like last week. The team last week was causing trouble because they weren’t  playing by the rules, they were using inappropriate language and they were putting others down. But this week they were well settled, which made the game more interesting and challenging.         

I could improve the use of this interpersonal skill next time by using positive words and attitude so that my team mates can see positive things me as well as the opposite team .

Jimmy Video-Reflection Fair play

My name is Jimmy and My role in the team is Coach, So what i have to do is Teach my team new skills, Plan Active Practice sessions, Support every member in the team and fair to each player in the team. The team I was in was Grasshoppers.

The interpersonal skill I demonstrated today during our game of touch was Fair play. Fair play helps to maintain their dignity whether winning or losing.

 An example of me using the interpersonal skill was when I supported the team throughout the whole game, as well as following and obeying the rules. The effect this had on the team was a lot better than the week before because the team was moving around and sharing the ball. 

Another example of me using the interpersonal skill was when my team mate passed me the ball, then i dropped it because it was a really bad pass, so I had to hand it over to the opposite team. 

I could improve the use of this interpersonal skill next time by Talking heaps more and Telling my team what to do, where to go and where to pass the ball.
